Privacy policy

How we handle your personal data — plainly and transparently.

Last updated: September 2026

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is IncoziEnergia. For any privacy question, contact us at incozienergia@gmail.com or +351 962 348 350.

2. Data we collect

We may collect and process the following categories of data:

  • Identification and contact data: name, email, phone and city (when you submit an analysis request).
  • Consumption data: information contained in the bill or contract you choose to share with us.
  • Technical data: IP address, device type and pages visited, when measurement cookies are accepted.

3. Why we use your data

We process your data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases (GDPR Article 6):

  • Respond to the analysis request and prepare the tariff proposal — pre-contractual measures requested by the client.
  • Contact the client about their request and follow up — performance of a requested service.
  • Send commercial communications about IncoziEnergia — consent, withdrawable at any time.
  • Ensure the security and technical operation of the website — legitimate interest.
  • Comply with legal obligations — legal obligation.

4. Data retention

Form data is kept only as long as needed to respond to the request and, if the client agrees to future communications, until consent is withdrawn or deletion is requested.

Billing or consumption data is kept while a contractual relationship or legal retention obligation exists.

5. Recipients and processors

Your data may be processed by service providers supporting the website and communications (hosting, email delivery and the form submission platform), acting as processors under our instructions and bound by confidentiality.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards, including European Commission-approved standard contractual clauses.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise these rights, contact incozienergia@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (https://www.cnpd.pt).

7. Cookies

The use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy at /en/cookies-policy/, including how to manage your preferences.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, loss or destruction, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted data access.

9. Minors

The website is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if we learn that we have, we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update.
